From our Casablanca team, we are currently looking to hire a Forwarding Operational Specialist. The mission of this role is to execute operational activities related to the business unit, contributing to the implementation of the company’s positioning strategy in order to meet clients’ logistics needs.
Main responsibilities:
Analyze and ensure logistics operations prior to execution.
Closely monitor each operation, coordinating with different suppliers and ensuring continuous communication throughout the logistics process.
Manage and handle logistics services requested by clients.
Optimize response times to clients and efficiently manage assigned cases.
Negotiate with suppliers in order to maximize profitability of each case.
Issue documentation and reports for each operation and update databases to maintain accurate records of completed activities.
Oversee and manage the administrative and invoicing aspects related to port calls and contracted cargo.
Supervise the cargo process from collection through to completion.
Candidate profile:
Degree in International Trade, Logistics, or Transport.
At least 5 years of experience in maritime and air freight.
Intermediate level of English (B2).
Knowledge of Customer Service, Microsoft Office, and SAP/HOPER.
